ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Franz Krüger
Franz Krüger’s many years in journalism include working as national editor of radio news at the SABC in its first post-1994 management team. He has also served as a correspondent for major international broadcasters such as the BBC, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Netherlands and others. He is a senior lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand, the editor of the profession’s most important online meeting place, www.journalism.co.za, and the Ombud of the Mail & Guardian. He is the author of Black, White and Grey: Ethics in SA Journalism.
